TURNA or SheepIt
Two different models. Free makes sense, up to a point.
Why choose TURNA?
Nothing to give in return
SheepIt runs on reciprocity: its members render other people's projects to earn points, which is the stated principle of the project. With TURNA you pay in euros and you do not lend your machine.
GPUs rented for your render
Your frames are rendered on GPUs rented for that render only, from specialised third-party hosts in Europe first, and not on other users' personal computers.
Commercial use and confidentiality
TURNA is designed for professional use, including projects under a non-disclosure agreement. Check SheepIt's terms of use to find out what its community model allows for your own projects.

Frequently asked questions
SheepIt is free, so why pay for TURNA?
If your project is personal and you accept the principle of reciprocity, SheepIt is an excellent project and it will cost you nothing. TURNA is for people whose deadline is tight, who do not want to put their own machine to work, or whose client requires confidentiality commitments. These are two different needs, not a better option and a worse one.
How much does a render cost on TURNA?
From €2.90 per hour on 1 machine to €49.90 per hour on 8 machines in parallel, billed on the time actually used. The render calculator gives an estimate before you launch anything.
